LADY SINGS THE BLUES Volume 2 -

Lady Sings The Blues, a story about women in song, their hurts, struggles and pain whilst their beauty remains the same, is Back! With Volume 2 to  embark on more stories of the women that have shaped the history of music.

You will be transported from the speak easy setting to the very heart of our Lady. Prinnie Stevens. Australia’s own RnB Soul Songstress. We first met Prinnie on Season1 of The voice battling best friend Mahalia Barnes, Prinnie went on to have a hugely successful career in Musical Theatre & LIVE music. The show combines Prinnie’s Musical Theatre, Pop, Soul & Gospel experience to create a diverse show like no other. Volume 2 will Ft the Songs & Stories of the greats: Billie Holiday, Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone,  Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and more.

It is a show like none other, with a song selection that spans over 100 years and touching on social issues across those decades. Prinnie will not only move you with her world class vocals but she will challenge your world as know it!

Sultry, smoky and sentimental - Lady Sings The Blues is a chill-inducing masterclass in modern cabaret- Isabella Fowler, The Advertiser

Lady Sings the Blues is an emotional rollercoaster but is so well put together that it is a significant and timeless performance.” - Fatema Sitabkhan, Weekend Notes

“I felt lost in her music, as if I had been enchanted and transported to the 1940’s and in a jazz club in New York” – Stephan Foenander, ADELAIDE REVIEW
