AURUS (Reunion Island) + COOL OUT SUN
Cool Out Sun is a creative project composed of the superpowers that are N'fa Jones, Sensible J, with Nui Moon, Lamine Sonko, and friends displaying the groups creative diversity and freedom with beats provocative, lyrics powerfully imaginative, and culture shared in song. The collective invite a range of artist's influences including percussionists, Neda Rahmani, Kwame Tosuma, rising MC – Bilalli and more to collaborate during live shows, diversifying an ever changing line up, and seasonal soundscape in World/Roots/Afro/Hip Hop music.
They group have just released their sophomore LP titled, A Lion Is A Lion - an internal reflection of self, culture, purpose and love intertwined over a soundscape of lush sonics and heavy drums featuring some stunning guests.
AURUS is a modern mirage. Hailing from Réunion Island (between Mauritius and Madagascar). The incarnation of our contradictions. After the transgressive polyphony of his last project 3SOMESISTERS, AURUS aka Bastien Picot evokes the « Maloya » of his roots (traditional music from Réunion Island) in an orchestral Pop and percussive shell, at the crossroads of James Blake, Peter Gabriel or Woodkid. You may have caught AURUS at Womadelaide - he is returning to play Woodford this summer.

All shows have a small amount of unallocated balcony seating, but are set up as standing room and general admission, unless specifically promoted as a “fully seated show”.
