Music in Exile brings its Spring Fling tour to Castlemaine for a one-night celebration of sounds from around the world. Join us at the Theatre Royal for an evening of live music with some of our most favourite friends!
Curated by Music in Exile – a not-for-profit label and artist services organisation working with culturally and linguistically diverse musicians – the Spring Fling tour celebrates all things connection and community.
We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. Free tickets available for First Nations guests on request.

Bar open from 4pm
Kitchen opens from 5pm - menu (we offer a delicious, fast-paced pizza menu with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating available)
All shows have a small amount of unallocated balcony seating, but are set up as standing room and general admission, unless specifically promoted as a “fully seated show”.
Make sure to visit our Beer Garden (open in the warmer months).
Please note that trains to Melbourne / Kyneton / Bendigo etc usually run post event. Check the Vline schedule for specific show date
