Three years after the fall of Kabul many Afghan filmmakers still remain in hiding, unable to work, speak or find refuge. In support of these brave creatives join us for a screening of the hugely successful and ‘game-changing' single mother drama, Shereen - made before the Taliban takeover - by a team of Australian and Afghan filmmakers. Acclaimed internationally - with nominations against the likes of The Night Manager and Mr Robot - this film and it’s follow up series symbolised the hopes and dreams of a new Afghanistan... before it all tragically fell apart. Language: Dari with English subtitles
